Exeter, Devon, Cathedral church of St Peter: (MLGB3: evidence from the style of script or illumination).
Probably written at Exeter by a Norman scribe who also wrote MS. Bodl. 691, fols. 75v-245r
Marginal chapter numbers were added in the 14th cent., probably by John Grandisson, bishop of Exeter 1327–69
Robert Stockman of Honiton , 16th cent. (signed, fols. 68v; with a note on fol. 65r that he owes £20 to John Blackmore)

His library sent to Sotheby's in Nov. 1946, this MS. sold privately before the sale to A. N. L. Munby, with his purchase-note, booklabel, and ownership inscription on the upper pastedown
