P. 1. maxims from the civil, canon, and Frisian laws, with Latin interpretations and some notes by Junius

P. 185. a poem beg. 'Hoe dae Friesen Roem wonnen'

P. 189. 'Incipit processus judicii', a better version of the legal formulary which occurs also at p. 139

P. 227. statutes of George, duke of Saxony, for Frisia, dated correctly July 4, 1503, in the margin, but wrongly 1404 in the text

P. 243. pecuniary penalties in Frisian penal law

P. 263. three religious pieces, beg. 'Alsoe vele als ic bescheiden bijn' (p. 263), 'Dis is een capittel vber ewygher wysheit' (p. 265), 'Koning David was koning ouer voel riken en hy woende in die heilighe stede Iherusalem' (p. 269), followed by a Middle Low Dutch 'Memento mori' in verse (p. 272)

Custodial history

This MS. was owned in the 16th cent. by Sybout or Sibold Aysma b. 1534, (d. 1604), whose signature is on pp. 34, 74, 217. Jan van Vliet wrote 'Beneficio nobilissimi et clarissimi viri Francisci Iunii libro hoc utor 1660 Ianus Vlitius' (p. iii). There are cancelled inscriptions of ownership on pp. 1, 322.
