Summary
Erroneously described on a titlepage prefixed to the volume as being "An essay towards the history and antiquities of Brecknockshire."
Pages 71–176 are occupied with extracts from Dugdale's Baronage respecting the several holders of Brecknock castle. At the end of the volume is a list of the sheriffs of the county from 1539 to 1718; and on the last leaf some notes of advice for traders in Virginia.
