Folder 1: Personal correspondence, c.1928-1933. Correspondents include John Frederick MacNeice and Georgina Beatrice MacNeice ('Madre') (including some letters to Mary); Marie Beazley (mainly to Mary); Anthony [Blunt], John [?Hilton], Adrian [Greene-Armytage] and 'Christopher', ?Moore, 'Guy', Stephen [?Spender], Graham [?Morgan], 'Ivy', Humphrey Thackrah, Littleton Powys, Edward Tangye Lean. Also includes letters and testimonials from university tutors, including G.R.G Mure, and congratulations on passing final exams, c.1930, and some unidentified fragments of letters and notes.
Folder 2: Correspondence and other papers relating to the MacNeices' dogs, c.1931-1933. Includes letters from breeders, pedigree forms and registration certificates, photographs. Also includes humorous postcards, letters and notes ostensibly be written by the dogs [actually by A.E. Dodds?] to their owners, and to each other, 1931-1932 and n.d., and one newspaper cutting about Irish water spaniels, 1936.
