Written in humanistic script by Hieronimus Baliocus of Novara , fol. 487v. (Pächt and Alexander ii. 744)

Decoration

Fine borders. fol. 1r Type full border Subject Rectangular border in gold frame with white vine-stem decoration on green, blue and pink background; human figure with a barrel (?) (rubbed) in left margin; nude human figure climbing the stems in lower margin; diamond-shaped panel with jewels in upper margin (rubbed); laurel wreath with arms of Gian Matteo Bottigella and his initials 'IO' and 'MA' in lower margin; laurel wreaths in four corners of the border with the emblems of his wife, Bianca Visconti.

Fine initials. (Pächt and Alexander ii. 744, pl. LXXI) fol. 1r Type initial L Subject 15-line gold initial with white vine-stem decoration on green, blue and pink background. 8- to 13-line gold initials in two styles (changing at fol. 104r), with white vine-stem decoration on green, blue and pink background, and sprays of leaves, flowers, berries and gold disks extending into margins, on fols. 24r, 43v, 54r, 63v, 89v, 104r, 119r, 131v, 145r, 171r, 179r, 188r, 197r, 212v, 229v, 252r, 280v, 293v, 305r, 316v, 342r, 353r, 363v, 382r, 392r, 402r, 411r, 421v, 432r, 445v, 460r, 473v.
