Summary
(p. 1) arranged by counties, written by Shaw up to about 1738 (e.g., p. 14) and added to by 'H.S.' (see c. 416, p. 302) between about 1739 and 1746 (e.g., p. 253). For most counties the extracts include lists of 'papists'' estates in 1719, notes on 18th-century presentations to livings, notes of the number of votes in parliamentary elections, 1710-41, and notes of briefs read in the church of St. James, Westminster, 1729-43. At pp. 205-17, 258-66 are abstracts of the London bills of mortality 1718-34, 1735-8, 1743.
