(fols. 51-85) Samuel Henley, partly relating to Vathek, 1782-6, with (fol. 75) verses by Henley beg. 'Let me ascend thy radiant car', 1785

(fol. 88-122) drafts and copies of letters to Elizabeth Hervey, some composed as literary pieces, 1777-96

(fols. 123-49) letters from Elizabeth Hervey to Beckford, 1789-97, including (fols. 123-4) Beckford's wrapper, watermark 1839, inscribed 'Letters from Mrs. Hervey 1790- [blank] clever and entertaining'
