Folder 1: correspondence relating to donations made as a result of Committee member Gilbert Murray's radio appeal made on 27 August 1950 on the BBC Home Service, Jul-Sep 1950

Folder 2: correspondence relating to a radio appeal by Sir Maurice Bowra, Vice- Chancellor of Oxford University on the BBC's 'Week's Good Cause' on 26th April 1953; correspondence relating to donations made as a result of Viscount Hailsham's radio appeal, Jan-Jun 1956. The appeal was made on the BBC's 'The Week's Good Cause' on 29 January 1956.

Folder 3: 'Extracts from letters received by Oxfam following BBC TV appeal by Stratford Johns (Inspector Barlow)' and a summary of letters and donations following the appeal, Apr-May 1964. Stratford Johns played Detective Inspector Charlie Barlow in the long-running BBC police drama 'Z Cars'.
