Summary
The correspondence was initiated by E.J. Bowen. Darlington's letter to the Master of the College, 6 Oct 1964, offers to meet the cost, but the College agreed to do this, and the plaque was put up in May 1965. Folder includes correspondence, drafts for wording of plaque, press cuttings and manuscript draft of an article by Darlington for the Oxford Mail about the plaque and old Oxford street names.
