The most importnt sources available under the title of Ikhtīyārāt belong to ʿAllāmah Majlisī and Mullā Ḥusayn Kashifī. The authors of this copy and the manuscript No. 248/2 (FAW 17) are, however, both unknown, and the copies are also different to the works of Majlisī and Kashifī. — Multiple dates; Unknown place of origin
