Decoration
Fol. 1a contains a title heading panel and a dedication roundel in blue and gold. Fol. 21a has an end panel in gold. Many sentences throughout are punctuated with small gold, red, and blue florettes.

Fol. 1a contains a dedication to Mawlānā al-Sulṭān al-Malik al-Ashraf Abū al-Naṣr Qānṣawh al-Ghawrī, penultimate Mameluke ruler of Egypt, d. 1516.
