Provenance

The secundo folio reading identifies it as UO46. 68, ‘in xvii quaternis ligatus et sine asceribus’, bequeathed by John of Sandwich (BRUO 1639–40), fellow in 1321, still in 1324. In UO48. 118 it is described as ‘quaternus’, in UO50. 57 as ‘expositorem sex principiorum’, in UO51. 33 as ‘expositorem logice’.

At the foot of f. 77 are pencilled the names ‘Iohannes Westram’ and ‘Robertus Derby’, s. xiv. The second may have been Robert de Derby (BRUO 571), fellow of Oriel College in 1360, until his death, by July 1361.

Inside the front cover, on a sheet of paper, are a table of contents, s. xvii, ‘Q. 2. 12. Art:’, s. xvii, canc. and replaced with modern ‘K. 1. 6 (CCXCVI)’, in red ink, and the College bookplate.
