Hands
Part A (ff. 2–41, 46–140) Cosmas (RGK I, no. 216), who signed his name on f. 140r: Ὁ Θεος ἱλάσθητι καὶ | συγχώρισον δια πρεσ|βίων τῆς σὲ τεκού|σης αμαρτωλῶ | Κοσμᾶ. Similar hands are found in Princeton University Library, Garrett 14, dated 955, in Paris, BNF, Grec 668, dated 954, and in Brussels, Bibliothèque Royale, II.2404, dated 976.
Part B (ff. 42–46) anonymous, active in the mid-fourteenth century (judging from the paper watermarks).
Part C (ff. 141–280) anonymous.
Decoration
There is no prominent decoration.
Binding
Binding (probably eighteenth-century) of marbled paper over pasteboard. The endpapers and pastedowns contain no watermarks.
Acquisition
Bequeathed by Sir George Wheler (1651–1724), who acquired it during his journey to Greece (1675–1676).
