Produced by a single anonymous scribe.
Decoration
The scribe drew in brown ink a wash-coloured headband on f. 1r.
Each text unit begins with an ornamented initial letter drawn in red ink.
Binding
Binding (made ca. 1710) of marbled brown leather over thick pasteboard; four protruding ridges, gilt-tooled ornamented, and title on spine. The endpapers carry a foolscapwatermark similar to Dianova 708 (attested in 1709); chain-distance 23 mm.
Acquisition
Bequeathed by Sir George Wheler (1651–1724), who acquired it at Zante on 24 May 1676.
Provenance
A note in the upper margin of f. 1 marks the book as belonging to Theophylus Corydalleus (1563–1646) .
