Written in gothic textura semiquadrata, certainly continental (Italy?), s. xiii. Some of the glossing appears English, a formal anglicana/secretary mixture, s. xv, but most of it again is continental.
Decoration
Headings in red, although many not provided, often because there is no space left.
At the heads of sections, 3-line alternate red and blue lombards, unflourished, with the actual text beginning with an unflourished 1-line example in the contrasting colour.
