Comprising four originally separate MSS, all on vellum (all HSOS/ HFFH).

Physical extent

Fols. iii + 39+ i (numbered fol. 40) + 118(numbered fols. 41–158) + iii (numbered fols. iv–vi).

Binding

A modern replacement. Sewn on four thongs. At the front, a marbled paper leaf and two modern paper flyleaves; at the rear, two modern paper leaves and another marbled paper leaf (iv–vi).

Acquisition

In the Benefactors’ Book among John White’sdonation (col. i): ‘Glossa in Marcum Lucam et Johannem ad Capitulum 7m. MS’.

Provenance

‘Todulus et uillelmus et godri’ ( fol. 158, lower margin, s. xiii); a further pen-trial in the upper margin, fol. 158v, s. xv.
